If reverse gear must be replaced, pinion gear and sliding clutch should be inspected or damage. If reverse gear radial bearing is rusted or does not roll freely, replace bearing. If the bearing needs to be replaced remove it using Slide Hammer A1. If bearing is rusted or does not roll freely, replace bearing.
